The Kairūri Community Trust was first set up in 2016 to foster the future of the surveying and spatial community. The purpose is to benefit the profession and the community and create a legacy for the future. GSI Insurance Partners is continuing to support the Trust this year by donating $11,500.
KCT Trust Chair, Simon Jellie says, “the trust is thrilled to receive GSI Insurance Partners’ support once again. Although our operation has been affected by COVID-19 this year with the cancellation of events, this and previous donations are highly valued and greatly appreciated. They allow the Trust to continue building a legacy that our young professionals gain benefit from both now and in the future. The trustees are looking to raise the profile of donation opportunities in 2021 and, in the short term will be establishing a survey and spatial scholarship targeting improved diversity in the profession.”
